Description We are looking for an early-career engineer to support our founder and CTO Fleming Bruckmaier with his day-to-day work. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer who wants to grow into a technical leadership position. You will support our CTO in coordinating cross-functional hardware projects, preparing technical documentation, and tracking development milestones. This will range from feature development and supply chain to the management of customer projects Collaborate with the CTO to define long-term technology strategy including roadmap planning for quantum sensing, system architecture, and new application domains Develop technical narratives for investor briefings, customer decks, public funding applications, and policy engagement — highlighting our differentiators in security, metrology, and performance. Track developments in academic research, chip metrology, quantum tools, and security testing and feed insights back into our tech and BD strategy What is expected of you 2-4 years experience in a fast-paced, technical environment (e.g., engineering, applied physics, quantum, semiconductors, sensing systems) MSc or PhD in a technical field (e.g., physics, EE, CS, materials science) Comfortable moving between deep technical work, strategic decisions, and operational execution Proven ownership of cross-functional technical projects Bonus: Experience in founder support, research translation, or industry-scale PoC execution Our benefits Competitive salary with equity participation. 30 days of paid vacation plus public holidays.
