They support brands with sales, marketing, logistics, and merchandising, helping them grow their presence across the Irish market.
Their nationwide network supplies thousands of retail outlets, including pharmacies, supermarkets, and department stores.
About the role:
The Area Manager is responsible for driving sales and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction across a defined territory. This is a field-based, customer-facing role focused on growing existing accounts, winning new business, and representing the company in the market. The role requires strong relationship-building skills, commercial awareness, a focus on achieving targets, and a good understanding of the market. You will be supporting brands across the health, beauty, skincare, OTC, and personal care sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Experience within a sales, marketing, distribution, or FMCG environment
2. Grow sales and achieve targets across your assigned area
3. Build strong relationships with existing customers and become their trusted contact
4. Introduce customers to the full range of products and services available
5. Deliver professional and engaging sales presentations and proposals
6. Regularly meet customers to review performance and spot new opportunities
7. Identify and win new business through networking, referrals, and lead generation
8. Turn new prospects into long-term, profitable customer accounts
9. Keep up to date with market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
10. Share insights and ideas to help improve products, services, and ways of working
11. Resolve customer issues quickly by working closely with internal teams
12. Ensure customers receive excellent service and ongoing support
13. Plan your schedule and customer visits effectively to maximise results
14. Keep CRM systems and sales records accurate and up to date
15. Provide regular updates on sales activity, customer meetings, and progress
About you:
16. Proven experience in a field-based sales or account management role
17. Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
18. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills
19. Strong organisational and time management skills
20. Commercially aware with a customer focused mindset
21. Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team
22. Full clean driving licence
