Your role
As Project Manager Regulatory Systems TN&H (m/f/d) you plan and lead global IT projects in Regulatory Affairs to ensure that the requirements of global regulatory teams are clearly understood, translated into effective system designs, and successfully implemented in our SAP landscapes. The role safeguards regulatory compliance by aligning global data management processes with all relevant industry standards and regulations and ensures seamless data flow from raw material information to customer documentation.
This requisition is a fulltime position to be located remotely within Germany.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that global data management processes of Regulatory TN&H align with all relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., FDA, Codex, EU).
* Project Management: Lead and deliver global SAP integration projects for Regulatory Affairs TN&H across all four regions (LATAM, APAC, NA, EMEA), including rollout, administration, and continuous improvement of our global Supplier Document Management System (DMS).
* SAP Expertise: Leverage your in-depth SAP knowledge (ERP, S/4HANA and related modules) to optimize data management processes, integrate new technologies, and secure compliance requirements.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate regulatory and business requirements into custom IT solutions. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Regulatory, IT, and Compliance departments, and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
* Digital Transformation & Harmonization: Actively contribute to our ONE SYM transformation journey by aligning and harmonizing regulatory data management systems and processes across divisions. Identify opportunities to unlock efficiencies, create synergies, and maximize the potential of our digital solutions.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process optimizations and automation opportunities in regulatory data management. Contribute to defining future ERP and system-based process optimizations.
* Access Management: Manage user access processes in ServiceNow for SAP and SYMCOM for Regulatory Affairs TN&H, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
* Training & Support: Support the design and delivery of user trainings related to regulatory systems and processes.
* International Cooperation: Build strong working relationships across cultures and regions in a global team environment.
About you
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, ideally with experience in IT roles focused on regulatory data management in the flavor industry.
* Alternatively, 10+ years of relevant project management experience with regulatory data management responsibilities and an apprenticeship or vocational training in chemistry, analytics, or a related scientific discipline.
* Proven track record of managing IT projects with a regulatory focus.
* Solid experience with SAP systems (SAP ERP, S/4HANA, and related modules).
* Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards (FDA, Codex, EU, etc.) is a plus.
* Willingness to travel internationally when required for project needs.
