Your Tasks
1. Planning, management, and implementation of procurement targets and strategies for selected material areas: metal/CFRP and plastics, electronics
2. Optimization of the supplier portfolio through active development in terms of quality, commercial, and technical aspects
3. Processing of material groups (savings potential, portfolio optimization)
4. Identification, selection, and development of new suppliers
5. Preparation of inquiries and offer comparisons as well as price/value analyses
6. Planning and execution of condition negotiations as well as preparation and optimization of general contract, delivery, and payment conditions
7. Design and implementation of cost reduction programs
8. Contact person in case of escalation for logistical and quality-related issues
9. Monitoring of the procurement situation for series products
10. Supporting the development department in the product development process and advising on component and supplier selection
11. First point of contact for project issues in the areas of CFRP and AM
Your Qualifications
12. Successfully completed commercial or technical studies
13. Experience in international strategic purchasing for a manufacturing company, preferably in the aerospace or defense sector in product groups such as complete systems made of metal/CFRP and plastic, electronics, formed parts, and purchased parts
14. Confident in using SAP and common MS Office applications
15. Knowledge of e-procurement desirable
16. Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as cross-team thinking
17. Assertiveness, negotiating skills, and persuasiveness
18. Commitment, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and on your own initiative
19. Quality, deadline, and cost awareness, as well as strong analytical skills and a good understanding of technical contexts
20. At least business fluent written and spoken English
21. Willingness to travel on business
