Beschreibung

About the role We are looking for an Industrial Product and Tool Designer (m/f/x) to join us on our mission to make lightweight components fit for the 21st century. Are you excited to design high-performance composite parts and the tools that bring them to life? Do you want to work at the intersection of design, engineering, and manufacturing, turning simulation data and manufacturing inputs into production-ready tools and molds? Are you curious about new workflows — from AI-assisted design to parametric modeling — and eager to help define how we build at scale? Do you thrive in a highly collaborative team within a fast-growing deep-tech company? And are you motivated by the opportunity to make a real difference in the climate emergency? Then you will love Holy. What you will do Design both composite components and the tooling required to produce them, including molds and manufacturing aids tailored to our proprietary production technology. Iteratively develop CAD models from scratch using SolidWorks, applying Freeform modeling as well as parametric part and assembly design to combine functional engineering with visual elegance. Reverse-engineer customer parts from 3D scans and enhance them to meet performance, manufacturability, and aesthetic goals. Translate optimized simulation data (e.g. from Ansys) into actionable geometry and tool designs. Standardize the design flow from input geometry to production-ready molds. Create stunning product renderings and product presentations that help our customers to imagine their products and bring their components and ideas to life. Work closely with composite engineers, automation experts, and software developers to shape how design, tooling, and manufacturing come together. Explore new tools and workflows — from AI-assisted design to visual scripting — and help us stay ahead of the curve in digital design and engineering. What we are looking for You bring 2–3 years of experience in product or tool design, ideally within composites or industrial tooling. You are fluent in SolidWorks and have used it to develop real products, not just parts in isolation. You’ve studied Mechanical Engineering, Composite Engineering, or Industrial/Product Design, or gained equivalent experience through hands-on work. You care deeply about design quality, both in how things perform and how they look and feel. You’ve worked across disciplines before and enjoy collaborating with engineers, designers, and developers to get things built. You are structured, curious, and excited about learning new methods, tools, and workflows. You take ownership, enjoy solving open-ended design challenges, and want your work to have real-world impact. You do not tick all the boxes? We are looking for driven candidates who most importantly add to our culture, and don’t just blend in. Feel free to submit an Unsolicited Application if you believe you are a fit. This role is preferably located in our HQ in Hamburg with potential for a remote setup. About us Holy Technologies develops a highly scalable autonomous production system designed to revolutionize composite manufacturing. We work with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers across various industries, including orthopedics, sports equipment, automotive, aerospace, and wind energy. Our automation solution enhances component weight, stiffness and recyclability while offering competitive costs comparable to Asian manufacturers, providing a sovereign and reliable manufacturing alternative within Europe. Lightweighting is one of the key focus areas in manufacturing to date. Lightweight manufacturing contributes 7.8% to total tax revenue and around 1.3 million jobs in Germany alone. Our technology addresses 80% of components in the multi-billion-dollar composite market and is adaptable across various composite materials. It also enables the replacement of an increasing number of metal components with composites, expanding the possibilities for manufacturers.
