Sales Manager – Aerospace & Defence (DACH & Benelux)
Preferred Base: Southern Germany – ideally near a major airport
Territory: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands (primarily Germany)
Key Accounts Include: Leading aviation OEMs and Tier 1s
Travel: Approx. 50%, mostly in-region
Our client is a global leader in the design and manufacture of high-precision, mission-critical components used across a wide range of demanding industrial applications. With a heritage rooted in engineering excellence and a focus on long-term customer relationships, the company supplies premium solutions to major players in the aerospace and defense industries.
They are now looking to recruit a Sales Manager to spearhead revenue growth across Germany for their precision engineered components, this is a high-impact, field-based role suited to someone who thrives on building relationships, navigating complex sales cycles, and influencing technical decision-makers.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Represent advanced, specification-driven mechanical solutions in high-compliance environments
* Build technical relationships with customer engineering, sourcing, and program stakeholders
* Visit customers regularly – face-to-face presence is essential (50%+ travel)
* Maintain and expand an established territory while protecting against price competition
* Understand and articulate technical differentiation – you'll be selling capability, not just cost
* Take initiative in helping the business develop presence in the defence sector, supporting its ambitions to gain market insight and credibility
What We’re Looking For
* Degree-qualified in mechanical or aerospace engineering, or equivalent technical background through experience
* A strong record in solution-led technical sales, ideally within the aerospace or military supply chain
* A confident, structured communicator who thrives on solving problems and winning trust
* Fluent in German and English
* Based within easy reach of key airports in Southern or Central Germany for efficient travel
