Purpose
As a member of Digital Sales team, you will play an important role in evolving the Business-2-Business Commerce experience for adidas and Reebok costumers. This position will work on the development of an engaging, innovative and premium ordering experience for our customers globally by focusing on driving strong commercial results in a brand enhancing way.
Your primary responsibility is around accelerating the development and consistent execution of the product strategy for the Global Business-2-Business Commerce through professional delivery of programs, key initiatives, and cross-functional projects. Your will be responsible to ensure that the platform has necessary tools, templates and features to deliver the best branded shopping experience end to end across adidas and Reebok customers. You will be responsible for product decisions and roadmap and likewise working closely with the key stakeholders across the markets globally. You will accomplish this by working in a scrum team and with various internal stakeholders, including IT, global markets, UX and Analytics to drive customer engagement and satisfaction, as well as incremental revenues by delivering digital experiences. This will be defined as a best in class ordering, browsing and one-stop service experience leveraging existing and new capabilities to their maximum potential and generating value for our customers
Key Accountabilities
* As Global Product Owner manage the governance process of the Global Wholesale Sell-in tools (e.g. but not limited -> Click)
* Drive the standardization and harmonization through the definition of Global Wholesale processes and implementation in all markets
* Manage the capabilities build around Sell-Out consolidations across our Franchise and Wholesale partners. Define the prioritization, govern the process and manage the onboarding for new Wholesale partners. Along with the KAM team, be the primary point of contact for all Sell-out and data related initiatives
* Manage the Roll-Out of the Global platforms and solutions to the Markets and drive and support the process change management
* Collect and assess market demand in order to understand local needs and legal requirements
* Drive system development and identify functions to be implemented through collaboration with Global sales development and global IT
* Create user stories for the system development in order to improve usability and increase the service offer of Global Wholesale Sell-in tools through collaboration with global Sales and global IT
* Collaborate daily with the internal and external development teams in order to assure high quality of features and enhancements delivered
* Own and run the Global Testing processes and organize market user acceptance tests in order to assure the quality of the products and increase user satisfaction
* Analyze business and product performance and actively communicate insights
* Establish reporting tools and frameworks to optimize key business flows
* Organize and visualize data in a meaningful and compelling way to draw insights and make recommendations
* Support to develop and implement the Global Wholesale System Strategy
* Provide Global Playbooks, training, documentation and tutorials to the markets
* Facilitate Market Trainings for roll-outs, drive process change management and support the project management of roll-outs
* Manage defects of the platform with Global IT and prioritizes resolution of defects
* Be an ambassador for Global Digital Wholesale Solutions and promote the platforms within the adidas group for adidas and Reebok
* Ensure a constant communication flow and reporting about status of the projects and initiatives to main stakeholders, Global Sales Senior Leadership Team and project-related functions
* Identify and encourage best practice sharing of Sell-in tool processes across the global Sales and Customer Service community
* Manage cross functional projects (mainly with global Operations, Finance and IT) ensuring constant communication to main stakeholders
* Act as a resource providing market insight and guidance collaborating on cross-functional topics across Global Sales channels (Business Development, Key Account, Field Accounts)
Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience
* High degree of commercial and business acumen knowledge
* Broad and deep functional skills (e.g. Customer Service, Operations, Finance, IT, Sales)
* Extensive knowledge of the adidas Group business along with significant industry experience
* Strong influencing, negotiation and communication skills
* Deep insight into multi-region sales processes and advanced understanding of the system landscape within adidas Group
* Creative, open-minded individual
* Flexible team player able to work in both a group and individual atmosphere
* Pragmatic approach with the ability to distinguish between the level of research needed to achieve the desired results
* Advanced analytical, planning and organizational abilities
* Proven methodological skills (e.g. project/product management and strategic development)
* Fluent in written and spoken English is a must. Skills and abilities in another language are a benefit
Qualifications
1. Degree in business administration with focus on Sales/ Operations preferred
2. Business: minimum 3 - 5 years
3. Functional: minimum 2- 5 years’ experience in Sales or Customer Service, ideally in the sporting goods industry
4. Project Management: minimum 3 years
5. Cross-functional experience ideally with Customer Service/ Operations/ IT/ Sales/ Finance
6. Industry: sporting goods / retail / consumer goods
