KG Organization Gas Services Business Unit Procurement Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day As an Engineering Project Manager for Procurement of our Gas Turbines, you will be part of the Procurement Excellence Team within Gas Services and drive diverse projects and initiatives. This ranges from the generation & implementation of cost optimization ideas within interdisciplinary teams to leveraging the innovation power of our external suppliers and enabling the transfer of measures on products and solutions sold to external customers. You need to work with the team of Service Engineers to ensure the implementation of CVE-methodology within early cost-out initiatives. Besides the optimization of existing products, you will also represent Procurement in the development of new products and exploration of new business fields. As an active core team member in selected key R&D projects, you will work closely with R&D Project Managers towards the achievement of project targets such as target cost through systematic involvement of strategic suppliers in the development process.How You’ll Make an Impact
7. Acting as the central interface between Procurement, R&D, and CVE within the Gas Turbines product line, ensuring cross-functional alignment
8. Proactive identification of upcoming service projects, design changes, and sourcing opportunities with savings potential, including early stakeholder engagement to support cost-out initiatives
9. Leadership in the realization of savings through coordination with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, Sales, Marketing, and other relevant functions
10. Collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and Project Procurement during the bidding process for new or optimized product offerings
11. Representation of Procurement in key R&D programs to ensure competitive product development and the support of effective sourcing strategies across material commodities
12. Utilization of supplier innovation and execution of technology scouting together with Procurement and R&D, ensuring competitive Siemens Energy products, early procurement involvement, and expert network integration
What You Bring
13. A combined technical and commercial degree or a purely technical degree, with a minimum of a bachelor’s level
14. Extensive professional experience in the Energy Business, Engineering, R&D, Project Management, and/or Supply Chain
15. Excellent project management, interpersonal, and communication skills, including effective interaction with internal customers
16. Relevant technical product knowledge in the design and operation of gas turbine components and systems
17. Strong curiosity, fast learning ability, proactivity, and result orientation, combined with strong prioritization skills and a focus on what matters most
18. Mandatory English skills and good command of German (approx. B2 level), plus willingness to travel up to 20%
