We’re looking for a Sales Manager for our client, a company with a strong and lasting presence in the market, specializing in a niche segment of PPE and fall protection equipment.
Responsibilities:
* Drive sales growth in the German market by analyzing trends, identifying opportunities, and executing effective sales strategies.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners, while pursuing new business opportunities and reactivating dormant accounts.
* Manage negotiations, contracts, and tenders, ensuring compliance with procedures and achievement of commercial targets.
* Collaborate with internal teams and Group departments to ensure alignment of commercial activities with overall Group strategy.
* Monitor market developments, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and business decisions.
* Ensure full compliance with Group policies and local regulations when interacting with clients, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
* Identify opportunities for sales performance improvement and support initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in Sales, with demonstrated success in leading teams and driving performance.
* Background in a multicultural environment within an international group, including regular collaboration with headquarters abroad.
* Experience in a related industrial sector (e.g., PPE, industrial supplies, construction materials), with strong knowledge of specialized distribution networks such as professional wholesalers, specialist distributors, or DIY chains.
* Based in Germany (native or bilingual German speaker) with fluency in English; proficiency in French is a strong asset.
