The Senior Project Manager plans, directs, and coordinates activities and resources to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prearranged time frames and within funding parameters. The incumbent is responsible for managing medium to large-sized project teams that deliver measurable business results by monitoring project activities, ensuring the quality and integrity of the information, and providing consistency in content and u201clook and feelu201d across the enterprise. The Senior Project Manager facilitates the resource management process by tracking resource skills, committed effort, actual effort, and administering the resource scheduling system. Being part of Regional organization require the ability to understand the complexity of each market solutions and navigate across the processes, considering each market similarities and exceptions, in order to manage complex and multi-cultural projects. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English Detail oriented, able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills Exceptional teamwork and interpersonal skills Strong change management skills and ability to influence decision makers Ability to communicate and persuade at all management levels and thrive in a cross-functional environment Strong project management skills which includes experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from vision through implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors Ability to analyze project needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives Conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies Expertise in MS Project EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : Bacheloru2019s degree in Business (or Management), Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification required At least 7 years of Project Management experience, Experience in Telecommunication industry is preferred ENVIRONMENT: 100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. Approximately 25-50% travel will be required in support of the positionu2019s responsibilities. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and finger to feel and handle; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, and crouch; lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds. Project Management Manage medium to large-sized complex multi-market business process or Business cases development projects within assigned areas from inception to successful implementation: define project objectives, scope, and level of effort assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to project personnel establish work plan for each phase of project, and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel develop project strategies and plans, and identify the methods and tools required for the project review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required prepare project status reports for management, business unit leaders, monitor progress against plan Communicate any project issues including timing, budget, resources, scope and more, to the Program Manager Review project proposals to determine time frame, funding limitations, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project. Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks. Utilize BI (Business Intelligence) tools to analyze resource metrics (actual and planned) and provide visibility of resource utilization and/or availability to management Collaborate closely with the Process Excellence/BPM team Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle. Integrate Change Management plans to the Project Plan Adhere to best project management practices and methodologies such as PMI (Professional Management Institute) standards or similar.
