About the role
As our Category Manager, you’ll play an important role in shaping and accelerating the Home category across Germany, Switzerland, and Austria (DACH). You will partner with the Head of Home to create and deliver integrated marketing and commercial strategies designed to drive sales growth, expand market share, and strengthen Dyson’s brand equity within Austria and Switzerland. Additionally, you will have specific Floorcare & Environmental Care marketing projects across Germany.
Your remit spans crafting impactful, competitor-beating brand communications based on consumer and market insights driving our key business results
Collaboration will be at the heart of your role, as you work closely with cross-functional teams including PR, Communications, Digital, E-commerce, Retail, and Finance ensuring a strong campaign set up, execution and optimization
Key responsibilities include:.
1. Collaborating with internal teams to build and execute impactful campaigns across platforms including TV, digital, in-store, and events, while forging strong partnerships across PR, Communications, and Digital.
2. Leveraging consumer, market, and competitor data to brainstorm marketing strategies across DACH and actively reviewing performance with the help of A/B Testing
3. Managing category budgets in partnership with Media and PR teams
4. Collaborate with Key account manager and Retail Media Teams for strong retailer activations
5. Leading special projects and cross-functional initiatives to drive category excellence and embed Dyson’s values.
6. Promoting a culture of experimentation, knowledge sharing, and agility, proactively driving improvements in how we work and succeed.
About you
7. At least 5+ years experience in marketing or category management
8. Passion for Campaign management or experience in Media management
9. Experience in brand management and cross-channel marketing communications
10. Native level German speaker
11. Skill in market data & marketing analysis
12. Proven ability to challenge the status quo and deliver innovative solutions
13. An effective communicator, presenter, and influencer
14. Passionate about marketing, with strong knowledge of market trends
15. Experience in media or e-commerce is a plus
16. Strategic, collaborative, and eager to learn
17. A confident team player with a positive, supportive attitude
