We’re working with an ambitious company in the life sciences space that’s building something exciting – To support their next phase of growth, they’re looking for a (Senior) R&D Project Manager (m/f/d) who thrives at the intersection of science, technology, and execution. If you love translating complex ideas into actionable plans, keeping diverse teams aligned, and driving innovation from concept to reality – this might be your next move. Tasks In this role, you’ll take the lead on cross-functional R&D projects that span devices, software, and assays. You’ll work closely with internal experts and external partners to bring new technologies to life – managing timelines, coordinating resources, and ensuring that everything stays on track. You’ll act as the central point of contact, bringing structure and clarity to fast-paced, often ambiguous environments. Whether it's facilitating collaboration across teams, navigating risk, or ensuring quality and compliance – you’re the one making sure nothing falls through the cracks. You’ll also play a key role in preparing project documentation and supporting the transition from development to manufacturing – always keeping the bigger picture in mind. Requirements You’ve got a strong background in a scientific or technical field – ideally a Master’s or PhD – and 2–5 years of experience managing R&D projects, ideally in the life science tools, diagnostics, or medtech space. You’re comfortable with complexity, familiar with areas like bioimaging or biomedical devices, and have a solid understanding of project management methods. Certifications like PMP or experience with Agile/Lean are a plus, but what really matters is your ability to keep things moving, even when things are evolving. You’re hands-on, communicative, solution-oriented – and you know how to balance the big picture with the day-to-day. Benefits You’ll join a highly motivated, international team working on cutting-edge technologies with real-world impact. The company offers 30 days of vacation, a company pension plan, flexible working hours, a hybrid working modelland a truly collaborative environment where your ideas and ownership are welcomed. You’ll experience the speed and spirit of a scale-up – with flat hierarchies, room to grow, and the opportunity to shape something from the ground up. Mistakes aren’t setbacks here – they’re steppingstones. You’ll be trusted to lead, learn, and build something meaningful. Curious to learn more? We’d love to hear from you!
