What awaits you
As Head of Engineering (w/m/d), you will be responsible for all technical aspects of our company in Bad Vilbel. You have a deep understanding of CAPEX, automation, equipment reliability and other important technical topics as well as change management. In your position, you lead an enthusiastic team and use your technical expertise to optimize our business processes and implement changes successfully.
* You create the foundations for engineering processes, define performance KPls and key figures (e.g. TPM score, CAPEX & OpEx management)
* You develop plans and strategies for optimized maintenance to maximize capacity and utilization of facilities
* You ensure that plants and equipment are planned and operated in a safe and efficient manner
* You ensure that the site has a solid master plan and development plan for plants and equipment
* You analyze OEE performance data to increase productivity
* You are responsible for defining and implementing all CAPEX projects
* You support the development of a safety culture using accident and near-accident reports, risk assessments and procedures in all areas of technology
* You are responsible for the GMP-compliant implementation of all activities and changes to technical procedures
* You define and monitor the annual technical budget
Requirements
* You hold an engineering degree and have leadership experience in leading an engineering team
* You bring experience in plant-, process-, production-, project- or automation technology (> 5 years) in an engineering function under GMP
* You have good knowledge of manufacturing-, packaging- and supply chain processes as well as process equipment for pharmaceutical processes (manufacturing and packaging processes)
* You have experience with Total Productive Management (TPM)
* You bring experience in change management and are able to successfully implement feasible changes
* You have excellent communication skills that enable you to present to executives and technical experts in German and English
* You bring a deep understanding of the most important non-technical business processes, C&P, finance, OpEx, etc.
