We are currently looking for a Strategic Global Account Manager with the target to increase the sales volume and the profitability of the defined Vishay product-lines for one specific T1 Account. Strategic Sales defines the strategy and implements the programs necessary to insure Vishay’s position as a key supplier to the defined customer and to increase market share on a worldwide basis. This includes the identification of overall potential at defined accounts, develops short and long range plans including objectives and strategies for the organization to maximize sales Location Stuttgart area would be ideal, due to proximity to designated strategic account. Key Responsibilities Budget Responsibility: Achieve the budget forecast across all Vishay product lines. Coordinate worldwide sales budgeting for account in conjunction with regional sales organization. Negotiation of Purchase Agreements: Worldwide responsibility for Volume Purchase Agreements (VPA). Responsible for negotiation, distribution, and follow-up of VPA's, as well as coordination with Vishay marketing groups. Strategic Business Development: WW development of strategic account business plan to identify key business opportunities and threats for Vishay business units. Contract Management: Responsible for all WW contracts in Sales (VPA), Logistics, Quality, Engineering. Making sure that all contracts are followed by Vishay business units. Relationship with Vishay Management: Maintain management level relationships and key site contacts worldwide, manage communications between Vishay staff & executive management and the customer. Customer Relationships: Maintains relationships within the customer’s purchasing, engineering, manufacturing and quality organizations on a worldwide basis. Develop a comprehensive understanding of SGA customer’s organization and business environment including: products, end-markets, technologies, components requirements, individual site functions, new business developments, etc. Sales Coordination & Management: Motivate local sales and support structure to work pro-actively to achieve common objectives identified in the strategic sales plan for defined SGA account. Drive design-ins for key customer programs. Supply Chain Management: Define and implement rules for logistic (incl. forecasting) flow, leadtime reduction programs and get all involved Business units committed. Your Profile Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field of studies Previous Experience in semiconductor and/or passive component technology, ideally in the automotive segment. Strong communication skills, including proactiveness and maintaining regular check-ins with the account. Ability to anticipate issues and proactively identify potential challenges and take steps to mitigate them before they affect the client. Flexibility: ability to adjust strategies as needed, ensuring that clients feel supported regardless of changing circumstances. Strategic Thinking: understand the client’s industry, market, and goals and tailor their strategies to align with the client’s long-term vision. Suggests ways to enhance the partnership, deliver value, and drive mutual growth. Negotiation and presentation skills gained managing large accounts Ability to work independently Excellent German and English, other language skills as a plus Willingness to travel in Germany and worldwide #J-18808-Ljbffr
