Dematic is looking for a MU Project Manager to support the Amazon business, responsible for managing individual projects through to final acceptance, ensuring they are delivered on time and in line with the customer’s agreed specifications as well as Dematic’s quality standards. The role will also oversee cross-country programs, ensuring alignment with Amazon’s ways of working, while driving coordination and consistency across multiple sites.
In addition, the MU Project Manager will monitor Project Management capacity and ensure effective resource planning and collaboration across locations.

5. Lead projects with full responsibility over budget, schedule, quality and EHS (Environment Health and Safety)
6. Leading interdisciplinary project teams to deliver projects on time and quality within a given cost framework
7. Contact person for the customer during the entire project duration
8. Contract management including change and claims management
9. Scheduling and control
10. Control of costs and cash flow with accurate forecasts of over and underspending.
11. Risk management and project status reporting
12. Coordinating the specification and procurement of equipment, products and services together with the relevant departments
13. Ensure compliance with project management processes and policies
Requirements
14. University degree (industrial engineer, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation technology, business administration with a specialization in logistics) or a comparable qualification
15. Experience managing Amazon projects as Material Handling Equipment supplier.
16. Ideally project experience with strong cost, time and quality awareness
17. Experience in the logistics sector desirable
18. Experience working in a live environment, effectively coordinating break-in activities
19. Good communication skills, able to work across functional levels and geographical boundaries
20. Ability to work in a team, change and problem-solving skills as well as an analytical approach to work
21. Constructive conflict management, high level of personal responsibility and assertiveness
22. Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (approx.30%). Driving license.
23. Good written and spoken English and local language. Fluency in other languages is desirable.
This position is primary focused on Amazon customer but not limited.
