Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Development Define the product roadmap aligned with market needs, scientific goals, and technical feasibility. Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and commercial stakeholders to align product development with business and research objectives. Evaluate usability and interface design by engaging with the user base and integrating feedback into ongoing development. Monitor market trends and scientific demands to ensure relevance and impact in preclinical research environments. Coordinate with operations and regulatory teams to ensure product readiness and compliance with applicable standards. User Engagement & Market Insight Gather and analyze feedback from researchers and users to guide continuous improvement. Conduct interviews and usability studies with target users to optimize adoption and satisfaction. Maintain a strong connection with the academic and research community to understand emerging needs and translate them into product capabilities. Represent the product at conferences, workshops, and professional gatherings, strengthening connections with thought leaders and potential users. Commercial Enablement & Positioning Work alongside marketing, sales, and technical experts to shape product positioning, competitive advantages, and key value propositions. Support commercial teams with training, strategic messaging, and performance insights. Partner with business development teams to identify pilot users and reference sites, helping validate and grow the product footprint. Contribute to the creation of technical materials and scientific communication to support outreach and education. Define success metrics related to customer satisfaction, market traction, and adoption rates. Monitor industry evolution and emerging technologies to inform long-term product direction. Candidate Profile Advanced degree (Ph.D., M.Sc., M.D.) in life sciences, biomedical engineering, physics, or related fields. 5 years of experience in product management or similar roles within biotech or medtech; familiarity with imaging or analytical systems is an asset. Strong technical and analytical mindset, capable of engaging effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Proven project management abilities and excellent organizational skills. Self-starter with a collaborative spirit and adaptability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Fluency in English; additional language skills (especially German) are a plus.
