Senior Sales Manager u00bb Date:Oct 29, 2025 Location: Nuremberg, Other/Not Applicable, DE Company: Leggett & Platt We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Senior Advanced Development Engineer within our Engineering team to help support our Automotive business. Thatu2019s right! Our automotive products fall into four primary groups: Seating and Lumbar support, Motors, Actuators and Massage Systems. In this role, you will report to the Director u2013 Sales, Europe and will be responsible for generating new business through building solid customer relationships in new markets as well as defining & implementing a sales model to support the growth. This role is responsible for strongly growing our activities and promoting our innovations for M&A in a fast-moving market & dynamic new product line. Therefore, this position is playing a key role in LPA strategy & highly contributing to the business growth in new fields with new market players. So, what will you be doing as a Senior Sales Manager? Lead and develop a team of 2 Sales Managers (based in Nuremberg) Oversee Account Management for a complete portfolio of major OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in Europe Identify new market opportunities and business development prospects Ensure compliance with our customersu2019 requirements for existing and new products Be the key contact person of our customers, taking care of their commercial and technical questions Use long-term data to set up the annual operating plan and turnover forecast Prepare and conduct price negotiations and conclude contracts with our customers Promote innovations, pursue benchmarking activities and collaborate closely with our Marketing organization Collect and analyze key performance indicators and define corrective action plans in case of deviations To be successful in this role, youu2019ll need: Business Degree with a Sales focus or comparable training Several years of professional Sales experience in the Automotive industry Ability to work in global teams with proficient communication skills in both verbal and written English Autonomous and structured way of working as well as engaging presentation skills Very good negotiation skills Very good technical understanding, while having a technical background is an asset Willingness to travel What To Do Next Now that youu2019ve had a chance to learn more about us, what are you waiting for!
