Sales manager bordnetz (f/m/d)

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business growth, as well as the growth and value creation of existing customers. You will be responsible for contributing to the commercial aspects of identifying, quoting, and winning new business while expanding the scope of opportunities within the customer portfolio. You will also contribute to critical sales elements—including, but not limited to, account strategy, pricing management, managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and the sales cycle.

Your Responsibilities:

1. First point of customer contact for global OEM Germany

2. Acquisition of new projects

3. Lead price negotiations and price agreements

4. Establish good customer and internal relationship with all involved departments

5. Create and cultivate strategic relationships with customers

6. Support the Business Planning and manage this in the SPS

7. Execute Market analysis and develop sales strategies

8. Review/understand/control commercial activities for all projects

9. Maximize the profit for Aptiv by getting the best price and control/check the promised internal cost out of the original investment release

10. Lead the Sales team and organize efficiently to reach targets

11. Maintain all sales practices documents according to audit standards

12. Comply with the internal controls and operate within Enterprise Operating System and DBS framework

13. Lead RFQ phases and assure profitable quotations in time to expand EDS Business

14. Support and cooperate with the whole customer cross-functional team

15. Prepare and lead the customer strategy meetings

16. Lead the activities to achieve the Sales targets for the customers

17. Achieve Account growth objectives

Your background:

18. Degree in economics or industrial engineering

19. Strong financial background

20. Automotive experience preferred

21. Strong English language skills – spoken and written

22. Very good German language skills - written and spoken

23. Clear verbal communication and negotiation skills

24. Ability to interpret technical drawings

25. Strong teamwork approach

26. Flexible and proven ability to work under pressure

27. Good execution capability

28. Effective presentation skills
