My client is a market leading manufacturing company that is actively searching for a Global CAPEX Buyer to join their team on a hybrid basis in Attendorn, Germany. With an employee headcount close to 10, 000, operating out of 20+ manufacturing plants, they require a candidate with strong global experience that is capable of managing the capital expenditure spend for multiple different regions.
Responsibilities:
7. Responsible for CAPEX purchases across the German, European and Asian regions
8. Working closely with key stakeholders
9. Collaborating closely with existing suppliers whilst identifying new suppliers where relevant with the idea of streamlining the entire supply chain
10. Travelling to different manufacturing sites within the company and supplier visits
Experience Required:
11. Several years of experience with CAPEX / machinery purchasing
12. Bachelors degree
13. Fluent English & German mandatory
14. Technical understanding of metals and joining methods
15. Willingness to travel
16. Team player
