Supply Chain Manager
I’m currently partnering with a fast-growing Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) that is looking to appoint a Supply Chain Manager to lead a small team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in an international manufacturing environment, enjoys end-to-end ownership of the supply chain, and wants to make a tangible impact on both operations and client satisfaction.
The Role
As Supply Chain Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for planning, procurement, S&OP Planning, inventory management, and distribution. You’ll be the key link between suppliers, manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams, ensuring products move seamlessly through the supply chain and reach customers on time.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, coach, and develop a small team of supply chain professionals.
* Oversee end-to-end supply chain activities: procurement, planning, production scheduling, inventory, and logistics.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders.
* Drive efficiency by optimising processes, reducing costs, and ensuring right-first-time delivery.
* Ensure full compliance with GMP, GDP, and regulatory standards.
* Monitor KPIs, report on performance, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
* Act as the point of escalation for supply chain issues, ensuring timely resolution.
What We’re Looking For
* A degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or similar.
* 5+ years’ experience in pharma, biotech, or manufacturing supply chain, ideally within a CDMO environment.
* Previous leadership experience managing small teams.
* Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
* Solid ERP knowledge and strong Excel/analytical ability.
* Someone who can balance the big picture strategy with hands-on execution.
