What You Will Do
1. Build and deepen relationships with existing and new clients in Europe, with a primary focus on Germany, leveraging your comparative advantage in understanding customer needs and market dynamics.
2. Collaborate with global and local account management teams, business development, product management, and other stakeholders to deliver innovative, value-added solutions that address customer challenges.
3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities with machine builders, system integrators, and subcontractors, applying principled entrepreneurship to grow profitable revenue and market share.
4. Bring the voice of the customer to Molex, supporting product development and continuous improvement by sharing insights on technology trends and customer requirements.
5. Take ownership of the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up on leads and maintaining accurate CRM records.
6. Demonstrate stewardship by proactively resolving product quality and delivery issues in partnership with Product Management and Operations.
7. Foster a culture of knowledge sharing, creative problem-solving, and mutual respect, consistent with Our Values.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
8. Degree in Engineering or related field, with at least 3 years’ experience in industrial automation.
9. Proven sales experience with machine builders, system integrators, or end-users.
10. Strong technical aptitude, service mindset, and effective communication and negotiation skills.
11. Demonstrated creativity, analytical ability, resilience, and motivation to maximize your contribution.
12. Proficiency in English (written and oral); German language skills and SAP knowledge are a plus.
What Will Put You Ahead
13. Technical sales experience in industrial automation, with deep knowledge of connectors, sensors, and market trends.
14. Business-fluent German skills.
