Distributor Account Manager (M/F/D) As a Distributor Account Manager (M/F/D), you’ll be responsible for implementing the EMEA distribution strategy and delivering above-market growth in your region. You’ll assess existing partners, build and drive growth plans, and onboard new distributors with the ambition to expand IMI’s market share. Face-to-face visits are critical to success, and significant travel across the region is required, especially to customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This role is full time, located in Alpen, and offers hybrid flexibility. Responsibilities Develop and implement the distribution strategy with the Regional Director. Drive growth using Korn Ferry Effective Partner Plans. Identify and onboard niche distributors to expand selected markets and technologies. Set and monitor sales targets and KPIs with partners. Implement pricing strategy and leverage Salesforce for visibility and growth analysis. Launch promotional activities and product campaigns to boost sell-through. Assess existing partners and develop improvement or replacement plans. Collaborate with distributors and end customers to create high-quality growth opportunities. Track customer NPS and develop strategies to improve satisfaction. Promote self-sufficiency among distributors through digital tools. Share best practices with other Distributor Account Managers across EMEA. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and supply chain teams. Use data analysis to inform strategic decisions and optimise channel performance. Critical Competencies for Success Strong English communication skills (business language). Proven track record of distribution sales growth in an industrial environment. Strong understanding of channel approaches and partner mix development. Experience building growth plans within each partner to meet IMI financial targets. Knowledge of marketing to end customers through distribution partners. Clear and persuasive communication, adaptable to different audiences. Growth mindset, positive attitude, and ability to work calmly under pressure. Skilled negotiator, ensuring maximum value for IMI and distributors. Ability to identify distributor priorities and act decisively. Strong customer focus, building outstanding relationships across the distribution network. Understanding of the pneumatics market in the region.
