You will work closely with the Head Product Management CustomBiotech/International Business Leader, the Market Development Manager, the Project Leader CustomBiotech, and other Product Managers. The Opportunity In this role, you actively shape the success of our product line by developing new approaches for complex challenges: * Drive and Implement Product Strategy: You independently manage product lines (including internationally), develop product-line-specific innovation, product, and marketing concepts for complex markets, and ensure the lifecycle management of raw materials for cell and gene therapies from product idea to phase-out. * Lead National and International (Sub-)Projects: Through your leadership and coordination of individual projects, you ensure the development of a product portfolio that meets market requirements. * Develop Agile Solutions: You lead complex and innovative agile solution developments from idea to market introduction, in close collaboration with internal and external partners. * Translate Market Knowledge into Business Cases: You continuously monitor the market and competition, conduct market and competitive analyses, and use them to prepare well-founded business cases for far-reaching, innovative solutions. * Interdisciplinary Leadership and Coordination: As the main point of contact, you ensure communication and collaboration with internal and external partners/stakeholders, coordinate interfaces, and support the professional development of colleagues. * Ensure Quality and Compliance: You are responsible for operational and planning measures to guarantee quality and regulatory compliance for the supported products/solution Your Qualifications We are looking for a personality who applies analytical thinking and sound judgment to identify innovative solutions for Roche. You work independently within broad guidelines and can persuade and guide others to solve complex problems. * Education: You have completed your university degree in a scientific field, ideally with a completed Ph.D. * Professional Experience: You have 5–8 years of experience in Marketing, Product Management, and/or Business Development within the pharmaceutical industry, with a solid understanding of pharmaceutical development and manufacturing processes as well as regulatory requirements. * Specialist Knowledge: You are familiar with raw material development in the pharmaceutical industry, the regulatory requirements, and the trends and needs of pharma customers in the cell and gene therapy sector. You interact at eye level with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and are represented in relevant (inter-)national committees. * Project Experience: You possess experience in working on local/global and/or large, cross-functional project teams to solve complex problems, ideally leading (sub-)projects (including internationally). * Communication: You have excellent communication skills to serve as a source of information and pass on experience.
