An exciting opportunity to join our Global Procurement team in a role focused on strengthening operational excellence across indirect spend.
As an Operational Buyer – Indirect Procurement, you will support day-to-day procurement activities, ensure smooth purchasing operations and contribute to a more efficient and scalable procurement operating model. You will work closely with stakeholders, suppliers, Finance and Category Management to improve process quality, data consistency and compliance.
This role is ideal for someone who brings structure, ownership and operational discipline into procurement processes and enjoys turning recurring operational topics into sustainable improvements.
Your responsibilities
Support day-to-day operational procurement activities across indirect spend, including purchase requisition and purchase order management, supplier follow-up and stakeholder coordination.Improve operational purchasing process, supplier data, pricing information and process compliance.Support procurement activities where central handling can improve efficiency, compliance and use of preferred suppliers.Support Travel and Expense operational continuity, including supplier follow-up, card and lodge card topics, invoice clarification and user support.Coordinate with stakeholders, suppliers, Finance and procurement colleagues to resolve operational procurement topics in a structured and timely way.Provide operational input to category managers to support supplier reviews, sourcing activities, demand management and process improvement.Drive continuous improvement within Global Procurement.Your qualifications
Completed commercial vocational training with relevant further education, or a completed bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a comparable fieldRelevant experience in procurement operations, operational buying or a comparable role, ideally within indirect procurementGood understanding of procurement processes, including purchase requisition, purchase order management, supplier follow-up and invoice clarificationStrong organizational and operational skills, with the ability to manage multiple topics in parallel and ensure consistent follow-up until closureConfident stakeholder and supplier communication skills, with the ability to guide users through procurement processesAnalytical mindset with experience working with procurement data, reports and operational KPIsExperience with ERP or procurement-related systems is beneficialFluent English skills required; additional languages are a plusStructured, pragmatic and service-oriented approach, combined with a strong sense of ownershipWhat makes you successful in this role?
