KG Organization Gas Services Business Unit Central Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day As an R&D Project Manager, you lead a global, cross-disciplinary team to achieve development targets for gas and steam turbine auxiliaries, with a focus on the steam turbine auxiliary portfolio, including mechanical, electrical, and controls aspects. You also contribute to the global cost reduction program, driving initiatives to optimize costs and enhance competitiveness. Your daily tasks involve organizing work packages, delving into technical details, and collaborating with your team to develop new features, update reference designs, and create cost-optimized products. By ensuring that reference designs are current and efficient, you contribute significantly to the success of the global auxiliary team. How You’ll Make an Impact You are project managing a global team consisting of approx.. 5 to 10 experts of all disciplines within the GCO engineering organization, which is mechanical, fluid systems, electrical and I&C as well as plant arrangement. Stay focused on the development targets to ensure successful developments Monitor budgets to achieve the team results Contribute to a better cost position of our auxiliary scope By motivating the team you ensure highest quality of results You represent the engineering organizations towards our internal customers and management What You Bring Bachelor of Science in Engineering required, Masters preferred At least 5 years of experience in power plant business Ideally experiences in managing teams Fluent English speaking capabilities, additional fluent german language is advantageous Excellent collaboration and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
