Description and Requirements
We are looking for an Acquisition Account Manager to drive new customer growth within the enterprise and commercial segment in Central Germany. This is a permanent, field-based role with a Home Office contract, focused on face-to-face customer engagement and new logo acquisition. The position suits an experienced sales professional with a strong hunter mindset, confidence in enterprise environments, and a passion for building new business relationships. Frequent travel within the assigned territory is required.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify, target, and acquire new enterprise and commercial customers within the assigned territory
2. Own the full acquisition sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation and deal closure
3. Conduct regular face-to-face meetings with customers to understand needs and present solutions
4. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
5. Collaborate closely with Inside Sales to align on targets, accounts, and sales activities
6. Manage onboarding of newly acquired customers until formal handover to long-term account teams
7. Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and pipeline updates in internal systems
8. Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions and market activities
Position Requirements
9. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
10. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales with proven new customer acquisition success
11. Experience in face-to-face selling within enterprise or commercial environments
12. Ability to manage complex sales cycles and close opportunities independently
13. Fluent German for customer interaction. Business communication skills in English
14. Solid understanding of commercial sales processes and pipeline management
15. High level of self-motivation, resilience, and results-oriented mindset
16. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
