Could you be the full time Senior Project Manager Traxx Competitiveness (f/m/d) in Mannheim we’re looking for?
Your Future Role
In Mannheim, over 1000 colleagues from 36 different countries work together to develop locomotives, as well as signal and propulsion technology for vehicles that are deployed both regionally and worldwide. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to Frank Nuernberg and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
We’ll look for you to :
* Drive the execution of a portfolio consisting of numerous competitiveness projects with the target to optimize the costs of the Traxx3 product. Overall criticality of the portfolio can be considered as a medium critical project.
* Target to maximize the results with respect to cash and margin whilst delivering on time, in conformity with Alstom project management and execution processes,
* Be accountable for project Quality Cost Delivery Planning (QCDP) and project Environment Health & Safety (EHS),
* Ensure Alstom legal and contractual rights are protected,
* Seek and propose to the Tenders & Projects Director Traxx and the Platform additional opportunities.
* Represent Tenders & Projects function in overarching optimization projects (e. g. IMPACT30, …)

* 10 years’ experience as project manager in railway industry
* Experience of working in and with multi-national companies and in different business cultures
* Project management skills
* Good communication skills
* Team management (capacity to coordinate and ensure collaboration of multi-site/multi-functional teams)
* Leadership, entrepreneurship mindset and result oriented
* Good Knowledge of Project management processes
* Good knowledge of railway products and systems
* Ability to manage customer relationship
* Advanced Negotiation skills
* Conflict and crisis management
