YOUR SHOES TO FILL:
* Leading and supporting strategic production and logistics projects, including factory expansions, greenfield planning, and the development of new distribution centers
* Driving operational excellence initiatives across all manufacturing plants and logistics sites to improve efficiency, quality, and material flow
* Analyzing end-to-end production and logistics processes to identify improvement potential and opportunities for standardization
* Developing factory and warehouse layouts, material flow concepts, and capacity scenarios
* Supporting automation initiatives in production lines and logistics operations, from concept through implementation
* Preparing business cases, ROI analyses, and decision-making documents for senior management
* Coordinating cross-functional project teams across Production, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and external partners
* Facilitating workshops, planning sessions, and stakeholder alignment across the entire network
* Ensuring transparent communication, structured project documentation, and management reporting
* Defining KPIs and measurement frameworks for OPEX and strategic projects
* Promoting a culture of continuous improvement through Lean tools, coaching, and standardized processes
* Ensuring the sustainability of improvements through follow-up, audits, and the rollout of best practices across all sites
* Providing project management, analytical, and research expertise
YOUR WALK OF LIFE:
* Completed degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable qualification
* 5-10 years of professional experience in Operational Excellence, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Consulting
* Proficient in MS Office
* Practical knowledge of time studies / work measurement in a production environment (preferably MTM, alternatively REFA) is an advantage
* Experience in or with manufacturing plants or logistics operations
* Proficiency in MS Project, Jira/Confluence, and process-mapping tools
* Experience managing large-scale local and global projects with multiple stakeholders
* Hands-on mentality, quick comprehension, and strong organizational skills
* Solution-oriented working style with a high degree of independence, strong negotiation skills, and initiative
* You see collaboration with various interfaces as an opportunity to contribute your ideas and continuously optimize and drive processes forward
* Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
* Experience in footwear, consumer goods, or discrete manufacturing is an advantage
* Knowledge of MES/ERP systems and data analytics is a plus
