Your tasks
1. Strategic product category development: Define and implement the strategy for our product categories and ensure they are aligned with business goals and market requirements
2. Product life cycle management: Be responsible for the entire product life cycle - from idea generation to market entry and continuous product development
3. Adaptation of the product portfolio: Respond to changing market needs and ensure continuous adaptation and optimization of the product range in line with the corporate strategy
4. Product innovations and ideas: Develop new product ideas and innovations that excite the market and ensure our long-term success
5. Price positioning: Design and define the pricing strategy for the product portfolio and ensure a competitive market position. Help shape global sales and budget planning
6. Market analysis: Conduct in-depth market analyses as well as competitive and consumer behavior analyses, both qualitatively and quantitatively, and derive recommendations for action for your product portfolio from them
7. Collaboration with internal and external departments: Work closely with all relevant internal departments such as purchasing, R&D, quality, production, marketing and sales and coordinate with external partners
8. Trend research and strategic co-design: Observe relevant market trends and actively contribute ideas and suggestions for the future corporate strategy
Your profile
9. You have a degree in business administration or technical studies, in economics with a focus on marketing, international business or product management)
10. You have many years of professional experience as a product manager in the marketing of consumer durables or consumer goods (food/non-food), ideally in the brand sector
11. You have sound knowledge of product range and portfolio management: you have mastered the art of strategically and sustainably designing and developing product portfolios
12. You have strong project management skills: You have the ability to manage and successfully implement complex projects
13. You promote interdisciplinary and intercultural cooperation: You are experienced in working with different areas of the company, from purchasing to R&D to sales, and work closely with our international subsidiaries and distribution partners
14. You are an active driver who always approaches tasks with a high level of commitment and assertiveness
