KG Organization EVP Global Functions Business Unit Project Entity Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Mid-level Professional A Snapshot of Your Day As a Proposal Project Manager Piping (f/m/d) you focus on leading, creating and collecting quantity and engineering related efforts for multiple types of power generating and conversion plants. This consists of piping and its accessories, including: adhering customer requirements, project schedules and its quantities for piping, supports, modular steel frames, insulation, heat tracing. Deriving therefrom the cost estimation for respective hardware and Engineering efforts, its production, its transportation, monitoring progress up and including performing a quality review gate of respective estimation which is the last step prior to providing quantities and cost to the sales team. This expert (f/m/d) is also taking action to align in particular with internal stakeholders (as well as external partners) to diligently align scope and remaining risks, even with creating concepts and improvement measures as well as organizing review meetings. How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Leading proposal projects for piping (small-scale up and including to mega-projects)
2. Develop and review bills of quantities, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and relevant international standards (, DIN, EN, EIGA, ASME, ANSI)
3. Creation of competitive calculations for piping, modules, valves, and insulation not limited to only hardware but also Engineering-efforts
4. Evaluating and commenting internal as well as customer specifications and contracts to project-related schedules
5. Coordinating interfaces and actively gathering/distributing required parameters
6. Monitoring and/or coordinating piping planning (quality and progress)
7. Determining piping technology
What You Bring
8. Successfully completed technical apprenticeship, ideally with additional qualifications
9. Experience in large scale projects (ideally including power plant technologies)
10. Experience in project management including contract and change management
11. Knowledge in valves, piping, insulation, and plant layout of industrial plants
12. Fluent in German and English
13. High communication skills and willingness to travel internationally
