We are an innovative aerospace startup seeking a Working Student - Flight Test & Manufacturing to join our team and who is curious about new technologies for our our cutting-edge drone. At Maple Aviation we develop a unique Tail-Sitter Drone, that flies with one propeller only and is controlled in position via a flap-thrust-vectoring system. In this role, you will work closely with our research and development team to test drone prototypes from concept to final production. In this role you will be responsible to support Flight Test execution and leverage our manufcaturing machines, covering classic workshop machines, high quality 3D-printing and advanced aerospace foams and composites to produce parts for our drone. We are looking for hobby tinkerer which have long experience in building and flying i.e. model aeroplanes, robots, cars etc.
Manufacturing of drone parts
in mechanical, aerospace, robotics, automotive, electric engineering or related field
~3 + years of hands on experience in hobby tinkering, such as model aircraft, cars, robots, etc.
~ Experience with Px4/Ardupilot flight controller
~ Interested in model aircraft construction, drones or robotics and can't wait to
