To be close to our partners, customers and users in the region, we’re investing into growing our local product development team. As a Product Manager in Handshake's Europe-based team, you will be responsible for Handshake’s global in-product analytics and data integrations products. This includes reporting back to enterprise partners on the success of their recruiting programs, to university partners on their students' activity and success on Handshake, and leveraging data sets within Handshake to create unique data-centric job search and career development experiences for students and job seekers. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing existing and building new API integrations between Handshake and third-party platforms like applicant tracking systems (ATS) and others that employers and schools use in conjunction with Handshake. Overall, you will play a key role in Handshake's global go-to-market goals and the overall development of our product. Your Role: As a product manager, you’ll plan and deliver a roadmap to: Empower employers and schools: through integrations & APIs, allow our users to seamlessly run their activities across various tools, without redundancies, while ensuring scalability and compatibility with the existing Handshake ecosystem of solutions. Drive marketplace value : continually strive to identify and optimize the key points of value creation across all three sides of our global network leveraging data and reporting Ship new analytics and reporting products : expand Handshake’s employer and university products with enterprise-grade reporting and analytics on platform usage and impact Drive data footprint strategy : own projects and initiatives that determine what data Handshake acquires, processes and reports on, adhering to all relevant privacy and security requirements You’ll own the product development lifecycle end-to-end, including: Being an expert data steward: Working closely with our partners, customers and teams in the regions, to fully understand the nuances, what reporting matters most to our partners, how to confidently collect and report on it, while ensuring top-tier privacy and security controls around data stewardship Owning the product delivery process: Leading a high-performing cross-functional squad, including engineering and design, from research and roadmap planning to delivery Driving the launch and adoption: Partnering closely on go-to-market and implementation, working with marketing, privacy, sales and customer success to ensure a successful launch and adoption across different regions Fostering cross-Handshake partnerships: Working with stakeholders across the different Handshake teams on all sides of the marketplace Your Experience: 4 years partnering with engineering teams to ship code. Ideally in a many-stakeholder environment with cross-functional teams. Proven track record of prioritizing shipping and delivering great products to users, ideally related to analytics or data integration products. Strong foundation in roadmap development and releasing products for complex, multi-sided marketplace businesses or SaaS platforms. Empathy and user focus. You challenge your own assumptions, and dive headfirst into understanding the needs of our local partners and customers. Exceptional communication skills that includes working with customers, users, and internal cross-functional partners as well as executives. Strong analytical and quantitative skills. You can create and run data-informed processes and make validated decisions based on research and data.
