HR Business Partner with Employment Law knowledge / expertise (M/F)
As the dedicated HR contact for one of our Business Units, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and advising managers and employees in alignment with global HR priorities and policies. Your dual competence in HR business partnering and employment law will position you as a trusted advisor and strategic facilitator, capable of navigating complex interpersonal and organisational challenges with precision, empathy, and legal rigour.
You will collaborate with all HR functions (recruitment, administration, development/training, compensation & benefits) to deliver comprehensive and compliant HR support. Your responsibilities will include:
* Recruitment & Mobility: Identifying recruitment needs, collaborating with the talent Acquisition team, managing internal mobility requests with consideration for legal and contractual frameworks.
* Onboarding & Integration: Actively supporting new joiners throughout their first year, ensuring a successful onboarding experience. Training and advising the Go to persons (people in the business in charge of managing teams) on the onboarding process.
* Career Development & Talent Management: Advising the business and coordinating career development paths, while ensuring compliance with employment regulations.
* Performance & Compensation: Advising Go to persons and employees during performance assessments, goal setting, and salary reviews, with attention to fairness and transparency. Coordinating the process ensuring it is deployed in alignment with the global guidance.
* Offboarding : Conducting exit interviews and managing offboarding processes with sensitivity and adherence to employment law.
* Reporting & Strategic Insight: Providing regular reporting to the business, ensuring HR builds strong strategic partnership with its internal clients through providing relevant HR data to support the decision-making processes.
* Employment law point of reference: Leading or contributing to cross-functional HR initiatives, ensuring that employment law considerations are embedded throughout the HR processes. For example, advising on disciplinary, dismissal processes, or advising the Global mobility team on Employment law related topics.
Your Profile
* Master’s degree in Human Resources, Employment Law, Business, Economics, or equivalent.
* 5–7 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within intellectual services (audit, consulting, fiduciary), with proven ability to influence HR decision-making and manage change.
* Strong command of employment law and its practical application in HR operations.
* Fluent in French and English (spoken and written); German and/or Luxembourgish is a plus.
* Rigorous, organised, proactive, and adaptable, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), digital reporting, and HR communication tools.
