Sales Manager (m/f/d)
working place : Gaimersheim, Germany.
Position Overview:
- Conduct regular customer visits to maintain and strengthen long-term customer relationships, while monitoring customer organization changes, future vehicle programs, and upcoming sourcing opportunities.
- Monitor market and competitor developments, regularly update customer production capacity and pricing data to ensure budget accuracy.
- Oversee full-cycle project management from tender release to supplier nomination, including quotation preparation, cost calculation, commercial negotiation and internal approval processes administration, to boost contract value and profit margins.
- Liaise with the General Manager of the manufacturing plant, report quotation status and project feasibility, and coordinate internal plant resources.
- Analyze, quote and track project engineering changes to guarantee accurate mass-production pricing; enhance customer satisfaction and uphold sound client partnerships as well as corporate brand image.
- Align internal and external resources to resolve project issues, collaborate with R&D teams on VAVE initiatives, complete asset reviews and annual price reduction negotiations, and follow up on customer payments to ensure timely recovery of accounts receivable.
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above; majors in Marketing, Automotive Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related fields are preferred.
- Familiar with the automotive industry landscape and sales channels, with proven capabilities in customer development and relationship management.
- Strong market analysis, judgment and sales proficiency, capable of independently delivering sales targets.
- Fluent German and English skills (business proficiency level).
- Possess a Class B driving license; able to travel frequently across Germany and other European countries.
