To enhance the customer journey and significantly improve flight search results, the company is restructuring its backend systems. They are seeking a Senior Product Manager – Backend Flight, who possesses strong analytical and conceptual skills, along with a proactive, hands-on approach to driving impactful improvements.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, specify, and develop intelligent, flexible backend systems for process automation and innovative features for customers.
2. Ensure high-quality and reliable implementation by thoroughly thinking through system details.
3. Collaborate with IT teams, analysts, and management.
4. Develop and continuously improve the comparison in terms of data quality and price attractiveness.
5. Create the product strategy and technical product roadmap.
6. Ensure product functionality through regular quality assurance and testing.
7. Work with suppliers such as integrators, airlines, and partner companies.
Requirements:
* A degree with excellent academic performance, ideally in economics, mathematics, technology, or IT.
* At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar environment, such as online industry or e-commerce.
* Ability to quickly grasp technical topics and apply knowledge practically.
* Preferably experience in Business Intelligence and/or data structures (banking).
* Analytical, structured work style with attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset.
* Hands-on approach, strong communication skills, and team spirit.
* Proactive thinking, openness to new ideas, and a drive for meaningful impact through curiosity and innovation.
