TASKS WITH IMPACT
* In your role as product owner you take responsiblity for the product development from discovery to conception until market launch by leading an agile SCRUM engineering team.
* You are part of the product domain Loyalty & Engagement. With 4 product teams, the domain is responsible for e.g. the Douglas Loyalty Program, Inspiration Experience, Social Commerce, Engagement tools (emarsys) and the omnichannel promotion and loyalty enabling tools.
* You are responsible for the product team that develops, manages, and enhances products and services by emarsys, which is our core engagement platform. You create solutions that help our marketing and CRM departments to efficiently use the platform, set guiding principles and ensure we are utilizing the platform in the best possible way aligned with our overall domain product strategy.
* Your goal is to identify user, business and technology needs based on feedback, data analysis, market insights, and organizational goals.
* Product development is teamwork – you play a key role in validating ideas using agile and lean methodologies with UX, engineering team, architects, and your business stakeholders.
* Developing, prioritizing, and maintaining the product backlog including user stories and detailed requirements for development teams.
* Managing stakeholder relations to ensure requirements and features are delivered according to customer needs.
* Monitoring relevant KPIs on a regular basis and deriving actionable measures to improve performance.
YOUR SKILLS
* Successfully completed degree or equivalent qualification
* 2–5 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
* Analytical and conceptual strength with a structured way of working
* Ability to translate complex requirements into clear deliverables
* Strong communication skills and confident stakeholder management
* Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
