We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our team in Northern Germany. This role is specially for professional with a background in Technical Sale, preferably Test & Measurement Equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to acquire new clients and expand our market reach within industries that require high quality testing solutions.

About the Role:
The Regional Account Manager will also work with their assigned accounts in the region with the objective of gaining a deep knowledge of the customer business and the key contacts in engineering up to C-levels and influencers therein to enable increased revenue generation.
Accountability to generate new business orders within defined territory of the north of Germany to develop and sell new business opportunities for the ER portfolio of services. To seek out new prospects and win back lapsed clients for ER qualifying opportunities, providing technical application advice relative to a customer’s needs and situations. Independently plan and execute outbound telemarketing campaigns, field visits, OEM training and marketing events.
They are also expected to work on incoming customer enquiries providing quotations and technical advice to customers, be actively involved in marketing campaigns, running events and proactively contact or visit customers with a view to generating additional business for the Company by close cooperation and team integration with entire regional sales team of inside-sales and account managers.

What you will be doing:
* Identify, develop and win new business brands.
* Developing and maintaining robust Account relationships utilizing all legal, ethical, and professional resources at their disposal maintain strong customer relationships through excellent customer service.
* Analysing both internally and externally available data to continuously increase understanding of assigned accounts business- and organisational structure and identify needs in alignment with Electro Rent’s key service offerings.
* Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company training.
* Using CRM tool Salesforce, effectively to maintain accurate and up to date customer history, planned activities and managing sales funnel.
* Taking ownership of account issues and complaints, when required, and working with other within the Electro Rent organisation to ensure these are addressed to the customers satisfaction in a timely manner.
* Negotiating new contracts or renewals with accounts ensuring that any such contracts are vetted internally by the appropriate individuals and are fully compliant with any legal requirements and the company’s own delegation of authority processes and authorisations.
* Ensuring inbound customer requests for pricing or technical information is addressed in a timely and effective manner, personally creating, configuring, and sending quotes or technical information to ensure customer satisfaction.
What you'll have:
General requirements
* Ability to progress and close sales opportunities; prospecting, engaging, qualifying, negotiating and time management.
* Uses a responsible and professional approach when engaging with customers, internal colleagues, and external suppliers.
* Follow instructions yet is self-motivated and demonstrates proactive initiative to accomplish objectives with a hunter mentality mindset.
* A strong desire to achieve and exceed customer satisfaction in all customer interactions.
* Good knowledge of test & measurement equipment and its applications in telecommunications / mobile networks / data centers and aerospace/defence markets, ideally combined with solution knowledge of the ER’s OEM partner.
* Experience with reseller/distribution companies selling solution from mentioned OEMs will be beneficial.
* The ability to explain the general benefits and cost effectiveness of rental versus purchase with financial argumentation background (Opex/Capex/TCO).
* The ability to plan visits in the region with high consistency prepared to travel up to 60% of time to visit customers.
* Good communication skills in German (C2/native) and English (B2/C1) in written and oral form.
Key Accountabilities
* Achieve commercial annual targets set for new business orders and subsequent annual revenue.
* Document and implement a sales plan for key areas in-line with the corporate prevailing strategy.
* Regularly review position against KPIs and plan and course correct as required to meet the minimum major commercial objectives.
* Manage reactive and proactive sales activities in the assigned region together with the inside-sales team members.
* Liaise with product management to assess ER’s ability to supply, join sales calls proactively with product management when assistance is required.
* Awareness of thresholds outlined in DOA control document, take appropriate action stipulated.
* Respond to direct phone calls and emails in a timely and professional manner.
* Proactively conduct daily outbound calls within agreed parameters and targets.
* Commercial and technical qualification of customer requirements.
* Advise customers on technical configurations and equipment options.
