Job Overview:
SANY Europe is looking for an experienced and strategic International Product Manager to lead the development and execution of forklift product strategies in the European market. This role will focus on the end-to-end lifecycle management of localized products, ensuring their competitiveness, compliance with EU regulations, and adaptation to local market needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the breakthrough and expansion of the SANY Electric Forklift brand across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research & Product Planning:
* Conduct research on European forklift market demands, competition landscape, and technology trends.
* Identify segmentation opportunities and formulate product plans for the European market, including product positioning, pricing strategies, and differentiation.
* Regularly update the product roadmap.
1. Product Development & Regulatory Certification:
* Lead European customer demand analysis.
* Coordinate with R&D teams, trial production testing, and local regulatory authorities to secure product certifications.
* Ensure compliance with EU regulations, including noise, and energy efficiency standards.
1. Cross-Department Collaboration & Project Management:
* Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and after-sales teams to optimize product launch processes.
* Ensure delivery and after-sales support systems align with European market requirements.
1. Marketing & Sales Support:
* Develop and implement product promotion strategies for the European market, such as exhibitions and industry white papers.
* Provide product training for sales teams and agents.
* Offer technical solution support for key customer negotiations and bidding processes.
1. Product Lifecycle Management:
* Monitor product performance in the market.
* Lead product upgrade or phase-out decisions.
* Optimize inventory and cost structures.
Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor's degree or above from recognized European institutions.
* Experience: At least 5 years of product management experience in the forklift industry within the European market. Familiarity with EU product certification processes.
* Languages: Native speaker level in German and Chinese, fluent in English is a plus.
* Skills: Strong data analytics, cross-cultural communication, and multilingual abilities (English required; French or Spanish is a plus).

* Location: Based in Bedburg, Germany.
* Travel: Willingness to travel within Europe and between Europe and China as needed.
