Project Manager – Power Electronics OR Electronics

Ampere Recruitment are supporting a leading engineering organisation in Baden-Württemberg in the search for a Project Manager with a strong technical grounding in electronics or power supplies.
This is a key position sitting between engineering and stakeholders, ideal for someone who understands power electronics but enjoys driving projects, timelines, and delivery.
⚡ The Role
You will take ownership of complex engineering projects, ensuring successful delivery from concept through to production. Working closely with R&D, customers, and senior leadership, you’ll act as the central point of coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
* Leading end-to-end project delivery within power electronics / electronic systems
* Managing timelines, budgets, risks, and resource planning
* Acting as the interface between engineering teams and external stakeholders
* Supporting technical decision-making with your electronics knowledge
* Driving cross-functional collaboration across hardware, software, and manufacturing
* Ensuring projects meet quality, cost, and performance targets
* Facilitating design reviews and tracking project milestones
🎯 What They’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Project Manager within electronics or power electronics
* Strong technical understanding of:
* Power supplies (AC/DC, DC/DC) or electronic systems
* Engineering development lifecycle
* Ability to communicate effectively with engineers and non-technical stakeholders
* Experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects
* Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field (preferred)
