For our location in Prague, Czech Republic, Wels, Austria, Leingarten, Germany or Rottendorf, Germany we are looking for a communicative and solution-oriented professional who brings procurement expertise and a strong project mindset – ready to take charge of complex, large-scale projects with confidence.
Your role in our team
* Take responsibility for procurement activities in large-scale projects across Central and Eastern Europe – from acquisition to implementation
* You actively contribute to establishing this newly created role in our projects
* Represent Supply Chain Management interests within the projects and ensure that procurement-specific goals and strategies are considered
* In close coordination with our sales team, contribute early to market-oriented proposals and support the strategic supplier pre-selection
* Collaborate with project teams to define procurement scopes and contract requirements relevant to subcontractors
* Prepare inquiries based on technical documentation, evaluate offers with your team, negotiate effectively, and contribute to decision-making
* Ensure orders are processed and delivery deadlines are reliably monitored
* Work confidently with state-of-the-art tools like SAP S/4HANA and our SRM platform K.Procure
* Maintain oversight of subcontracted services through to successful completion, managing scope changes as needed
* Build deep expertise in intralogistics projects by actively engaging in exciting, hands-on project work
Your profile
* Hold a completed degree in business administration and/or engineering, or a comparable qualification
* Bring several years of experience in project procurement, ideally within mechanical or plant engineering
* Possess strong technical understanding paired with clear cost and quality awareness
* Fluent in German and English – Czech skills welcome but not essential
* Confidently represent yourself in interactions with clients and suppliers, always professionally
* Easily navigate MS Office tools and ERP systems like SAP R/3
* Work precisely, reliably and with a strong sense of teamwork
* Advance projects through clear communication and assertiveness
