We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to join our Software Development team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business, customers, and engineering by translating requirements into a technically sound backlog that maximizes product value. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our microservice-based software platform, ensuring that features are delivered reliably, securely, and with long‑term maintainability in mind. RESPONSIBILITIES Own and prioritize the product backlog with a focus on technical feasibility, system impact and maintainability Translate business, customer, and regulatory requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria Ensure backlog items address architectural, security, and reliability considerations TECHNICAL ALIGNMENT & COLLABORATION Collaborate closely with System Architects, Product Security Managers, and SRE teams Align product requirements with technical strategy, architecture, and operational needs Support trade‑off decisions balancing scope, quality, risk, and delivery timelines DELIVERY & EXECUTION Participate in sprint planning, refinement, and review sessions Clarify requirements and support development teams during implementation Accept completed work based on functional and non‑functional criteria NON‑FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS OWNERSHIP Define and prioritize requirements for performance, scalability, availability, security, and observability Track technical debt, reliability improvements, and security enhancements Align SLOs, SLIs, and operational metrics with product goals STAKEHOLDER COMMUNICATION Serve as the primary technical liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies transparently Align roadmap planning with technical strategy and system evolution QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES 5+ years of proven experience in a product development or product owner role Hands‑on experience in product development from concept to successful completion Experience in the automation industry is beneficial Experience in managing and aligning cross‑functional teams towards milestones ABOUT THE COMPANY arculus is a part of Jungheinrich and independently develops high‑end mobile robots and software products for intralogistics automation.
