Your tasks
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Project Manager with a strong focus on market intelligence. This role will be responsible for managing procurement projects while leveraging market insights to drive strategic sourcing decisions and optimize our supply chain. This position will join our "Circular & New Materials" team within the Procurement department. This team is focused on circularity and sustainability.
1.project management:
4. Develop and maintain project plans and timelines
5. Coordinate cross-functional tasks to ensure project objectives are met
6. Monitor project progress and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
2. market intelligence:
7. Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the supply market
8. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of supplier landscapes, industry dynamics, and emerging technologies
9. Create and present market intelligence reports to inform procurement strategies and decision-making processes
3. strategic sourcing:
10. Utilize market intelligence to develop effective sourcing strategies and supply chains, partly for new feedstock streams
11. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on market insights
4. data analysis:
12. Analyze procurement data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement
13. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track procurement performance and market dynamics
5. stakeholder management:
14. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align procurement strategies
15. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and industry partners
16. Present market intelligence findings and recommendations to C&NM Project Lead
Your profile
17. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
18. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on project management and market intelligence
19. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
20. Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
21. Knowledge of procurement systems and processes
22. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
23. Experience working with cross-functional teams and in an international environment
24. Experience in the chemical industry or related sectors
25. English is a must, German is a plus
