Customer Account Manager (German Speaking)
Location: Dublin (Hybrid – minimum 3 days onsite)

About the Role
We are seeking a customer-focused and commercially driven Customer Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of small to medium-sized business clients.
In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for your customers, providing proactive account support, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring an exceptional client experience. You'll work closely with customers to strengthen relationships, increase account profitability, and support the adoption of payment and merchant service solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with customer-facing, account management, or sales experience who is looking to develop their career within a global financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support an assigned portfolio of business customers via phone and email.
- Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
- Identify opportunities to increase customer value, retention, and revenue growth.
- Promote and sell a range of payment processing and merchant service solutions.
- Resolve customer issues and act as an escalation point for complex queries.
- Analyse customer needs and provide tailored recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
- Maintain accurate customer records and account activity.
- Support projects and initiatives aimed at improving customer satisfaction and business performance.
What We're Looking For
- Fluent German and English (written and spoken).
- Previous experience in customer service, account management, client success, sales, or relationship management.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial mindset with an interest in sales and business growth.
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and general IT proficiency.
- Experience working with CRM systems is an advantage.
