Technical Specialist
We are seeking a skilled technical specialist to join our team of experts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Providing technical support and guidance to customers, identifying and resolving system and process engineering issues.
* Implementing preventative maintenance plans, managing spare part inventories, and driving upgrade projects to minimize downtime.
* Auditing and inspecting safety-critical equipment, producing compliant documentation.
* Contributing technical input to service order handling, preparing solution-based quotes.
* Commissioning systems at customer sites, ensuring they run reliably after handover.
* R Running application training sessions, providing ongoing operational support to ensure customers use systems effectively.
* Serving as the primary technical contact, liaising with internal teams to coordinate and deliver the best customer solution.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* Completed vocational training in mechatronics or certification as a state-qualified technician, or equivalent practical experience in a technical field-service role.
* Ideal experience with ultra-trace analysis and safe handling of acids/toxic liquids in small quantities.
* Familiarity with PLCs, control electronics, sensors, automation, and robotic handling is beneficial.
* Comfortable using digital tools (service apps, ticketing systems, ERP) as part of daily work.
* Fluent communication skills in German and English.
* Reliable, creative, and flexible with a customer-first mindset and a strong practical, hands-on approach.
* Comfortable spending around 50% of working time on-site with customers and presenting professionally in an international environment.
