Implementing a new HCM, Payroll or Financials business application is a significant project for any company. At Workday, we realise that a comprehensive and effective testing program is as critical as configuring the application itself. Our Workday Test Lead will lead and assist our customers with this effort. We are looking for experienced Testing professionals to join the team.
The Workday Test Lead is a key member of engagement teams, who advises and guides customers through not only the development of a testing strategy and plan, but also conducting testing.
You'll ensure the Workday solutions meet desired business requirements and can be used effectively in their targeted business environments by:
5. Provide guidance to the Customer Test Lead on the development of testing strategies and planning
6. Guide the customer to define business processes and map test scenarios to business processes in preparation for testing.
7. Work with the Customer Test Lead and the Customer Subject Matter Experts to ensure testing scenarios are created in accordance with project quality standards.
8. Guide the Customer Test Lead on the scheduling of testing activities, including coordination of rooms, equipment and testing resources.
9. Serve as the overall Testing Manager responsible for testing administration, testing tools, testing preparation, status updates, and overall incident reporting.
10. Work with the Customer Test Lead and the Customer Subject Matter Experts to ensure all test scenarios are executed and results documented in each cycle: unit testing, end-to-end testing, user acceptance testing, parallel testing, regression testing and performance testing.
11. Prepare final reports after each test phase is completed – unit testing, end-to-end testing, user acceptance testing, parallel testing, regression testing and performance testing.
About You
The role requires a blended mix of business skills, customer focus and desire to support the Delivery team to secure their success.
Basic Qualifications
12. Languages: Business fluent German and English
13. 5-7 years of Test Lead, Senior Consulting or Project Management in ERP Deployments.
14. 3+ years of experience in creating Test Strategy and Test Plans execution, and testing management
15. Strong experience building Test Scenarios, or Use Cases based on proposed configuration.
Other Qualifications
16. Good understanding of the latest trends in Test Automation is a plus
17. Experience or exposure of Workday deployment methodologies and processes will be beneficial
18. You know how to estimate the effort and resources it would take to complete a project, and you are comfortable working on multiple projects & initiatives
19. Knowledge of testing and test methodologies for ERP technologies
20. Strong creative problem-solving skills, analytical and reporting skills
21. Strong presenter with excellent verbal and written Communication skills
22. Ability and desire to learn technology quickly through a mix of different mediums
23. Resourceful and adaptable; you’ll be comfortable working remotely, utilising a variety of tools with a high degree of autonomy
