Agora Think Tanks The world’s energy systems are changing. Renewable energy has moved from a niche technology to its broad-scale adoption in many countries. Policy makers face new technical, economic, and policy challenges. Understanding this complex transformation is essential for decision-making and ensuring smooth transitions to a clean energy system. The International Network of Energy Transition Think Tanks ( INETTT ) brings together think tanks supporting energy transitions from around the world. It aims to integrate the perspectives of its members to offer a more diverse view of energy transitions, their drivers and impacts both globally and comparatively between member countries. It offers opportunities to exchange, share, and collaborate on research topics, policy, and strategy, thereby strengthening joint and individual impact, through exchange of lessons learned, leveraging synergies, as well as institutional and thematic skill-sharing supported through grants. The INETTT Secretariat coordinates and facilitates network activities, supports members and helps drive the mission to accelerate global energy transitions. It is hosted by Agora Think Tanks based in Berlin, Germany. Under the supervision of the Director of INETTT, the Secretariat is looking for a Your responsibilities include Project Manager – Industrial Policy and Decarbonisation, International Network INETTT (f/m/d) Full-time, based in Berlin In this role, you work directly with the Director of INETTT and team. Your responsibilities include: Contributing to the development and implementation of INETTT’s strategy; Liaising with member think tanks to scope, design and implement collaborative activities; Coordinating joint research projects within the INETTT network and providing support to INETTT members in the implementation of research projects; Monitoring global trends related to industry decarbonisation and sharing insights with members; Contributing to the development of information and communication material on the decarbonisation of industries in key countries, including lessons learned, policy debates, regulations and technical challenges and solutions of global relevance; Facilitating dialogues and coordinating processes with external stakeholders; Organising and contributing to webinars, workshops as well as conferences; Reporting regularly on progress and strategic direction to build momentum and ensure transparency; Contributing to broader network activities like the organisation of the INETTT Annual Forum and grants; Closely cooperating with colleagues within Agora. We are looking for We are looking for: A degree in economics, international relations or related field and at least four years of relevant work experience on various facets of energy transition policies - in particular industry decarbonisation and socio-economic aspects - in an international consulting role or in governments, think tanks, research centres, international organisations, private sector, or civil society organisations; A strong desire to actively shape the global energy transition, and a particular interest in industry decarbonisation; Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a desire to frame complex topics to diverse target groups; Strong networking skills and intercultural communication skills; Willingness to travel internationally We assume that there are excellent candidates for the job who do not meet all the criteria in the description.
