Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in surface-to-air missile (SAM) systems, launchers, and related defense technologies. The successful candidate will oversee complex defense projects, ensuring that technical, financial, and schedule objectives are met while coordinating with cross-functional engineering and defense teams.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage defense-related projects with a focus on surface-to-air missile systems and launch platforms
* Coordinate technical teams across mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering disciplines
* Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and risk assessments
* Serve as the primary liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with defense regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols
* Provide technical guidance and decision-making support in system integration, testing, and deployment phases
* Prepare and deliver reports, technical documentation, and presentations to senior management and government representatives
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
* Proven experience in project management within the defense or aerospace sector, preferably with missile or launcher systems
* Strong knowledge of surface-to-air missile technologies, launchers, and system integration
* Familiarity with defense standards, regulations, and certification processes
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
* Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
* Security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one) is highly desirable
