Responsibilities:
1. Disciplinary and technical management of the subordinate personnel (fitters, workers, etc.)
2. Conducting employee and feedback meetings
3. Training and technical guidance of employees in the production area (authorized to issue instructions)
4. Responsibility for shift and vacation planning as well as time management in the team
5. Creation and maintenance of the training plans including associated documentation (e.g. Q-matrix, advance planning) as well as ensuring the timely implementation of the training measures
Supporting the BU management in achieving the specified annual targets as well as compliance with work and safety standards, operating instructions and environmental regulations
Qualifications:
Industrial foreman (plastics technology, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering), technician or higher-level training (e.g. engineer)
3-7 years of relevant professional experience in plastics and/or elastomer processing
Written and spoken English skills (at least B1)
Lean / Six Sigma knowledge (Green Belt) or knowledge of LEAN methods
Experience in employee management
Project experience
Good MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point), SAP modules e.g. time management, capacity planning, production execution, maintenance)
Willingness to work in multiple shifts
