Your challenge We are looking for a Senior Product Owner – Financial Services (all genders) with strong experience in fintech and financial transaction platforms, and a solid understanding of clearing & settlement, invoicing, payment integrations, and regulatory requirements. Financial Services is a core component of Hubject’s platform, enabling accurate, compliant, and scalable financial transactions between EMPs, CPOs, OEMs, and external payment providers. In this role, you will own and advance Hubject’s Financial Services products, focusing on regulatory precision, operational excellence, and end-to-end transaction lifecycle management. You will work closely with Engineering, Finance, Compliance, Legal, and Operations, as well as external partners such as payment service providers and banks, to ensure robust, audit-ready, and high-quality financial processes across the entire platform. Break down regulatory, legal, and business requirements into implementable features with clear acceptance criteria Bridge Role Translate financial business needs (from CFO, Legal, Compliance, major EMP/CPO clients) into technical requirements for developers. Support in shaping FS strategy and ensure alignment with Hubject’s platform roadmap Fintech Excellence Lead on financial transaction processes: reconciliation, error handling, chargebacks, fraud prevention. Manage integration with external providers (e.g., Stripe, Datatrans, acquirers, banks) Stakeholder Engagement Main FS contact point for EMPs, CPOs, OEMs on financial product topics. o Collaborate across Hubject: Operations (incident mgmt), Compliance (BaFin/PSD2), Legal (contracts), Finance (settlement). Delivery & Quality Ensure development output matches regulatory precision (no room for error in invoices/settlement). Define KPIs: success rate of financial transactions, SLA adherence, error/fraud rates, settlement cycles. Own the complete FS lifecycle: from EMP–CPO contract setup to transaction clearing, settlement, invoicing, reconciliation, dispute management, and reporting. Ensure transparency and audit-readiness of all FS processes. Your Profile 5 years in product management or ownership in fintech/ payments/ transaction heavy SaaS. Proven expertise in payment flows, clearing/settlement, invoicing, reconciliation, fraud prevention, and reporting. Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (PSD2, BaFin, AML/KYC, VAT). Strong API/product integration understanding (ideally with roaming/transaction standards like OCPI, OICP, or similar B2B APIs). Hands-on experience with backlog tools (Jira, Confluence) and agile workflows. o Data-driven mindset — reporting tools, transaction analysis and errors. Acting as a trusted partner to Head of P&T — understanding big-picture strategy but executing with detail. Excellent communicator, can “speak finance, speak tech, and speak business.” Self-driven, structured, resilient under pressure, with high ownership mentality.
