Senior Project Manager | Data Center Project | Frankfurt | Freelance
We are looking to engage an experienced Freelance Senior Project Manager to join a new hyperscale data center project.
Contract Details:
Location: Frankfurt (5 days per week onsite)
Start: April (ideally within 2 weeks)
Contract: Freelance, approx. 24 months
Project: Data Center
Role Overview
This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for managing the a large part of the project from A - Z, working closely with the General Contractor, consultants, and internal stakeholders. The position is challenging and fast-paced, requiring strong leadership, commercial awareness, and the ability to drive programme delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Overall project leadership from design through construction, commissioning, and handover
* Full responsibility for programme understanding, control, and challenge
* Day-to-day management and coordination of the General Contractor
* Supporting and challenging the GC to ensure schedule, quality, and cost targets are met
* Cost awareness and support, including reporting and change management
* Regular reporting to senior stakeholders and executive management
Essential Skills
* Proven experience as a Project Manager on data center projects
* Demonstrated track record managing full lifecycle projects
* Strong understanding of large-scale construction programmes and GC management
* Fluent English, (German Ideal)
* Comfortable operating in a high-pressure, senior stakeholder environment
